About Us
Warehouse 505 is a non-profit, social enterprise and venue that invests in Albuquerque’s youth by providing a place to learn and develop skills under mentorship within the creative arts and individual sports.
Established in 2009 as Warehouse 508, we have worked towards furthering connections between youth and the community and fostering employment experiences and opportunities.
Electric Playhouse is redefining how students learn, play, and connect by bringing immersive, motion-activated technology to schools. XR Interactive transforms ordinary spaces into interactive environments where students engage in active learning through movement, collaboration, and play. By blending curriculum-aligned content with cutting-edge tech, we’re creating engaging experiences that make learning more meaningful and memorable.

Our mission is to get youth off of screens and into immersive, interactive environments that bring the excitement of video games into the real world.

To retain our social and collaborative model, we do not utilize headsets or controllers. Students become the controller—using their bodies to engage in healthy, active play that fosters physical fitness and social skills. XR Interactive is redefining how we can learn, move, and play together in a world where learning is truly hands-on and full of adventure.

Screen Time
Approximately 50% of teenagers aged 12–17 engage in four or more hours of daily screen time, excluding schoolwork

Physical Inactivity
Excessive screen use contributes to sedentary behaviors, with adolescents spending up to 8–10 hours daily in sedentary activities like watching TV and playing video games.

Mental Health
Among teenagers with four or more hours of daily screen time, about 27% reported experiencing anxiety symptoms, and 26% reported depression symptoms in the past two weeks.
Our Technology

Designed To Be Multi-Purpose
Once installed, the XR Interactive system becomes the nexus of the school — a dynamic platform that goes beyond classroom learning. It enhances assemblies, student performances, and sporting events with immersive visuals and motion-activated interactivity. Outside of school hours, it transforms into a powerful tool for community engagement, supporting after-school programs, fundraising events, and family nights, turning the school into a hub for innovation, creativity, and connection.​
